Biography

During the end of 2009, Simone Terigi, a guitarist from Sestri Levante (GE), starts looking for new bandmates to form a new band, with the clear purpose of shaping a sound that clearly shows his musical style and wraps up his years of total dedication to the world of music. His first choice for the bass player is Gianluca Eroico (already known for his work with Simone in the Satriani cover band "Joe Satriani Tribute"), an excellent all-round musician capable of putting together the most complex ideas. His next choice is Paolo Raffo on drums, an experienced and talented musician, with his great technical skill, his energy and his creativity, all of which can bring more uniqueness to the band. The singer is Alessio Calandriello,a music teacher at Roland Music School just like Simone, a high pitched, technical vocalist who can also create new melodic lines surprisingly well. The band moves on pretty fast, and after a name choice for the project (LUCID DREAM) and a consolidation of all the musical ideas, they're already working on their first recording, a full length record called "Visions From Cosmos 11". This work, with its unique kind of sound, tries to mix the classic progressive hard rock and 80's rock sounds with modern guitar myths like Joe Satriani, David Gilmour and Iron Maiden; everything gets done effectively by wisely putting together melody, energy, harmony and technique. Their strong point is undoubtedly the unique sound of the band, a mixture of various influences (which all come from the individual musicians and their years of individual experience put together ) brought together with fresh, personal and emotional ideas brought into the mix. That's their main focus in music : if we want real change to happen, we've got to use our inspirations and our roots to give our own, personal contribution to the world of music, just as we try to give a thoughtful vision of our reality through our Spirit.
